The Nexus Metal range of 13A plug sockets from BG come with two handy "Type A" USB charger sockets and gives switched protection. It has a slim design with softly rounded corners and a quality finish to compliment any interior decor. They have no visible plastic around the plug socket itself and come with colour matched screws.
The NBS22UG is capable of charging iPad, iPhone, tablets, mobiles, cameras and more with a USB output of 5V .. 3.1A (shared across the two ports). It is designed for use with Apple approved leads and may not work as effectively with other types of lead. It is suitable for retrofitting into existing plug sockets (it is supplied with optional 10mm spacer for 25mm backing boxes). The socket has a light lacquer coating for durability and to limit finger print marks and is finished in brushed steel with co-ordinating grey plug inserts.
